Southwark Private Tour Reviews

Sarah & Tony Greaves
“One of our favourite parts of London, it is so vibrant and full of history. I thought I knew this part of town quite well, having been on other tours and visits in the past 25 years or so. But we discovered that we had simply walked past historic sites without realising and found new statues/monuments that we didn’t know about. A really interesting walk in a wonderful setting, highly recommended and particularly nice to do in the spring/summer, as it is close to the Thames. It felt like we had been taken on a little daytrip without having to leave our home city.”

“It’s amazing the things and places I’ve frequently walked past without realising their history. Hazel really opens your eyes with plenty of interesting facts and amusing stories. This walk was just an hour long and the time just flew by. A very pleasant summer evening.”
Hazel
“Was a nice jaunt through London Bridge/ Southwark area. Good to see some familiar sights in the daylight and with the hustle and bustle. Definitely whets the appetite for other Southwark walks and to hear about London’s bloody past, shenanigans, plots and despots. You leave realising 1,000 years on, people çan change, plus c’est la même chose.”
Amanda and Guy
“A real pleasant tour. I discovered lots of things I didn’t know about this area of town. Highly recommended.”
