Light festivals have been a part of wintertime celebrations for centuries. They provide a beautiful and festive way to brighten up the dark, cold days of winter. Plus, they’re a great opportunity to get together with family and friends and enjoy some quality time outdoors. In this blog post, we’ll take a look at some of the most popular winter lights festivals around the world. So grab your coat and gloves, and let’s get started…

Canary Wharf is a major business district in London. It was built on the former docklands of West India Quay, and today it is home to some of the city’s tallest buildings.

In this winter lights project, a live newsfeed from Sky News was extracted and projected onto water droplets that were falling on top of each other as if it were solid terrain for them to stand upon; however they are just words floating there- animating what would otherwise be still footage – bringing life back into something dry and dull…Some people believe that technology has replaced traditional methods of communication. Drops can be projected onto water droplets and words will appear as soon as they hear about it, or even before! The modern world is changing so fast with new inventions coming out every day- but what do you think? Is there still room for old school techniques like postcards sent by mail after an important event?”

I found it interesting to leisurely walk around Canary Wharf at night; a place which has the reputation of being full suits and ties walking through what could be described as an ants nest. The illuminations pulled in many people all seeming enjoy their freedom compared with crowded streets near London’s central railway station for LumiereLondon

Lumiere London was a fantastic experience for all visitors to the city. The lights and sound were beautifully done, drawing people from around central London with their promise of something new- an away from bustling streets filled with traffic noise or long lines at Tube stations during rush hour times; even if you’re not going anywhere specific yourself there’s still plenty else going on that won’t leave your senses bored!

A big reason why I loved my stroll through these particular waterways so much? It felt like we had found ourselves lost inside some sort world where nothing compromised our freedom -not other humans (or animals) trying desperately hard just be seen by others

Fingers crossed this festival will be repeated in 2017.
