Best way to get around London

Navigating London

London is a fabulous city in which to live and to visit. Saying that though, the most hardcore of Londoners can use a little help at time. And that help comes in the form of a mobile app.

It is easy to get lulled into a false sense of security on regular London journeys, we know the optimal route on autopilot, even the specific carriage to get for a speedy exit from the station. But as soon as an unfamiliar journey is required a little more thought and preparation needs to be taken.

It's commonly accepted that it takes about an hour to get across London. That needn't be the case. If you’re not already familiar with City Mapper then let me introduce you. City Mapper is a free mobile app which helps you navigate London by just about any mode of transport possible, helping you find the speediest, cheapest and easiest route across town. It covers live train times, bus, Uber integration and cycle docking station information which means you'll never be stuck again. It even shows you where best to sit on the tube so you can make a swift exit at your required destination, feeling like a seaoned Londoner!

CityMapper is available on iOS free / Android free
